Currently serving on several Corporate Boards (Public & Private), he is also on the Board of Regional Incubation Center - Venture Lab. Karna is also credited with the successful turn-around of Certicom Corp.

Dr. Arun Chockalingam is the Director of the Office of Global Public Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. He was the founding Director of the Office of Global Health at US National Institutes of Health’s Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), which he lead from 2010-2013 before returning to Canada to join University of Toronto. Earlier, Dr. Chockalingam was the Founding Director of the Global Health at the Simon Fraser University, Vancouver to establish the first Global Health Graduate Program in Canada. In addition, He served as Secretary General of the World Hypertension League from 2005-2013
